Spotd for Business – Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms apply to venue owners who claim, create, or manage a business listing on Spotd (“Spotd for Business”). By using the business portal, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your Listing Is Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything in your listing, including your venue name, address, hours, happy hour details, events, photos, and contact information. Please keep your listing up to date. Outdated or misleading information creates a poor experience for guests and may result in removal of your listing.

2. No Guarantee of Placement or Results

Spotd does not guarantee any level of visibility, placement, traffic, or business results from a free listing. Search ranking and discovery are determined by Spotd’s systems and may change at any time. Paid upgrades such as Spotd Pro may offer additional visibility features, but no specific results are promised.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not include in your listing:

4. We May Remove or Correct Listings

Spotd may edit, suspend, or remove any business listing that is inaccurate, misleading, violates these Terms, or harms the integrity of the directory. We may also correct obvious errors. Repeated violations may result in permanent removal and loss of access to the business portal.

5. Reviews and User Content

Guests may leave reviews and photos of your venue. Spotd does not pre-screen reviews but may remove those that violate our content policies. You may respond to reviews through the business portal where available.

6. Free Listing and Paid Upgrades

Claiming and managing a basic business listing is free. Spotd may offer optional paid upgrades (such as Spotd Pro) with additional features. Paid features are described at the time of purchase and are subject to their own terms.

7. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your business portal login and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at shane@spotd.biz if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Limitation of Liability

Spotd provides the business portal “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spotd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the business portal or reliance on your listing.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the business portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
