Green Door Tavern
About Green Door Tavern
Dating to 1921, this is Chicago's oldest surviving tavern in a building that survived the Great Chicago Fire. The tilting facade, Prohibition-era speakeasy bar (The Drifter in the basement), and walls lined with antique sporting gear and old-time advertisements make it unlike any other bar in the city.
