Miss B's Coconut Club
About Miss B's Coconut Club
Caribbean beach bar and brunch spot on the Mission Beach boardwalk — opened 2016 by Peter Cich and Rob McShea (also Duck Dive, PB Shore Club). The "coco club" name nods to Mission Beach's 1914 marketing mascot "Miss B," a fictitious bathing beauty drawn up by Mission Beach Syndicate to sell beach lots. Rum-forward cocktails (the house Mai Tai, Coconut Margarita, the Punch in a Treasure Chest for 3-5 people), 20 local microbrew taps including the house Coco ClubVeza and Vacation Coconut IPA, kombucha on tap, nitro cold brew. Daily brunch until 2pm, bottomless mimosas on weekends. Signature plates: El Cubano sandwich, coconut shrimp with sweet chili-pineapple mojito sauce, jerk chicken wrap. 30s-style sailor-tiki décor, indoor fireplace, heated outdoor patio. Parking is tricky — bike or walk if you can. Note: 5% service surcharge added to checks.
