Sweet Afton

Sweet Afton has been the de facto living room of Astoria since 2009, with exposed brick, a sizable whiskey selection, and an enclosed back garden that draws locals in every season. The kitchen turns out what many in the neighborhood consider its best burger. New York Magazine has called it shockingly friendly, which is accurate if you understand that the compliment is meant in the highest possible sense.
