Terroir TriBeCa is sommelier Paul Grieco's downtown outpost, and the room reflects his refusal to take wine culture at face value: bottles against brick walls, kitschy signage, and a list menu that includes a literal manifesto. The selection is eclectic and deeply serious underneath the presentation, with a particular enthusiasm for Riesling that Grieco has been evangelical about for years. It is not a hushed place; the point is that you are allowed to have fun.
