Zombie Hut has held down its stretch of Smith Street since 2002 with bamboo walls, Polynesian masks, and a back patio large enough to swallow a sizable group. The drinks lean toward the potent and theatrical: the Frozen Zombie arrives in a communal bowl with a surprise shot buried inside, and Scorpion Bowls round out the menu. Cash only, no food, and an eclectic soundtrack that ranges from hip-hop to Simon and Garfunkel without apparent irony.
