Alulu Brewpub

Alulu is a cozy two-story brewpub in Pilsen that brews all its small-batch beers in-house -- dry-hopped sours, Mexican lagers with smoked poblano and jalapeno, and imperial stouts -- available nowhere else in Chicago. The kitchen turns out a Filipino-American gastropub menu featuring longanisa burgers, crispy lumpia, pork adobo rice plates, and wings from grandma's marinade. Reclaimed wood, a living plant wall, and a retractable garage-door front give it the feel of a friendly treehouse.
