Iona

Iona inhabits a converted candy store on Grand Street in Williamsburg and functions as a Scottish and Irish bar, sports venue, folk music session space, and occasional dance hall, sometimes on the same night. The Monday Scottish session, drawing from the pipe and fiddle traditions of the Hebrides, Shetland, and Cape Breton, is the only regular Scottish-focused traditional music session in Brooklyn. A back garden adds room when the inside fills.
