Skinny Dennis opened in 2013 on the corner of Metropolitan and Berry, named after a 6-foot-11 country bassist who died onstage at 28, and has been hosting live country and roots music seven nights a week ever since. The bar pours 18 drafts and a house frozen coffee drink made with bourbon, brandy, and coffee liqueur that arrives with a float of bourbon on top. A vintage jukebox fills the gaps between sets.
